To that end, in order to encourage and ensure the professional and personal development of all employees, a variety of tools and resources are made available to staff to enhance service delivery, boost confidence in performing daily tasks, and help prepare for future successes.
The Human Resources department performs many human resource functions for employees, including payroll management (TIM); recruitment; position classification; performance management administration; benefits administration; employee relations; parking coordination; records management; and staff training and development.
Facilities Services Training offers employees many opportunities to improve existing skills and learn new ones, and serves to schedule all training events, classes, seminars, workshops, safety and compliance training, management and supervisory development classes, courses and plans of study, trades training for job skill enhancement, and continuing education for licensure and many other specialized Facilities Services training needs.
Facilities Services Training handles all Educational Assistance and Tuition Waiver requests and monitors training requests that require travel.
