The second phase of the Porthole Alley construction project will start Monday, April 24, 2017 and is expected to last through June 30, 2017.
A portion of Porthole Alley (Old Fraternity Row) will be closed to pedestrian traffic. Pedestrians should remain alert to traffic and sidewalk changes and follow signage designating pedestrian detours.
The gated Porthole Lot will also be closed for construction. N2 permit parking will be available in the small lot besides the Ackland Art Museum and can be accessed from S. Columbia Street. Overflow parking for N2 permit holders is available in the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center Lot (N2 Zone), in the Nash Lot (N7 Zone) and in the Venable Lot (N11 Zone).
