The Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) will close a segment of the northbound lane of Hillsborough Street for pavement work beginning Wednesday, June 21. The project is expected to be completed Friday, June 23, but weather and other conditions may impact this timeline.
The pavement work will require the closure of 800 feet of the northbound lane of Hillsborough Street, from the East Rosemary Street intersection to the north as indicated on the map. Contractor work hours will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Flaggers will be placed along Hillsborough Street to direct traffic and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes. Bus routes will not be affected.
