The Utility Improvement project to repair and replace pipes beneath Lenoir Drive has been completed. Lenoir Drive will remain closed for resurfacing and striping Aug. 2, 2017, through Aug. 10, 2017, and is expected to reopen to through traffic Aug. 11.
The temporary crosswalk at Emerson and Lenoir Drives has been closed. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk south of Lenoir Drive for the duration of the project.

A utility project to repair and/or replace pipes beneath Lenoir Drive will impact parking on both Lenoir and Emerson Drives beginning Monday, Dec. 19, 2016. While vehicular access to and from the areas will be maintained by opening up Emerson Drive to two-way traffic, this will force the loss of parking along that drive as well as on Lenoir Drive due to the project. Access to ATM Drive will remain unaffected.
N3 permit holders who normally park in this area may find alternate parking within the N3 Zone (including Bynum Circle) or in the Cobb Deck (ND Zone; see map below). For questions about parking, contact the UNC Department of Transportation & Parking during regular business hours at 919-962-3951.
