The project includes new HVAC systems and window replacement for three of UNC’s Lower Quad residence hall buildings (Everett – 19,436 SF, Lewis – 19,502 SF, and Stacy – 20,110 SF). The scope of this single prime project includes replacing and upgrading the existing HVAC systems and direct digital controls. An upgrade to the existing fire alarm system in these buildings to make them addressable is included. Existing windows will be replaced with new energy efficient windows that meet the requirements of the University of North Carolina Design Guidelines. Project budget: $4,500,000.
