competition flyerStudent intern Hongyu Li is hosting a building energy use competition between Ehringhaus and Craige residence halls. The competition will take place Oct. 21 through Nov. 18 and will determine which residence hall saves the most electrical energy. Students will be encouraged to reduce building energy use by turning off lights, keeping doors and windows closed, unplugging chargers and appliances and using cold water when washing clothes. The competition will include weekly energy-saving themes, tips to reduce energy use and prizes.
