The 2001 Plan was the product of an intensely collaborative process that engaged large numbers in the campus community, as well as local citizens and officials. A similarly collaborative approach was employed to produce the 2006 Update. The University is grateful to every person who participated in the process. Many meetings both internal and external to the University were held to capture and learn from the experience of the communities on and around campus.
