Update: The Lenoir Drive Utility Project has been extended and parking will be impacted on both Lenoir and Emerson Drives through Monday, Jan. 30, 2017. N3 permit holders who find their parking areas overcrowded can utilize the overflow areas, Cobb Deck (ND) and N5-Park Place.
A utility project to repair and/or replace pipes beneath Lenoir Drive will impact parking on both Lenoir and Emerson Drives from Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 through Friday, Jan. 5, 2017. While vehicular access to and from the areas will be maintained by opening up Emerson Drive to two-way traffic, this will force the loss of parking along that drive as well as on Lenoir Drive due to the project. Access to ATM Drive will remain unaffected.
N3 permit holders who normally park in this area may find alternate parking within the N3 Zone (including Bynum Circle) or in the Cobb Deck (ND Zone; see map below). For questions about parking, contact the UNC Department of Transportation & Parking during regular business hours at 919-962-3951.
