Due to the possibility of adverse weather Thursday, Feb. 20, Facilities Services is closely monitoring campus conditions and preparing equipment and supplies.

Facilities Services Energy Management and Information Technology Services have installed new air conditioner units in the ITS Manning data center to reduce the center’s carbon footprint.

University staff and community members celebrated the building’s recent renovation and the opening of an exhibit dedicated to Kennon Cheek, Rebecca Clark and William “Bus” Hubbard.

Members of the University and local communities are invited to attend one of several upcoming workshops to provide feedback about the opportunity for renewal and redevelopment of Porthole Alley.

Construction of the UNC School of Medicine’s new medical education building will begin Tuesday, Jan. 14 and is expected to be completed July 2022.
