UNC-Chapel Hill Executive Director of Facilities Planning and Design Evan Yassky has been named University Architect.

Facilities Services crews have pretreated and brined primary campus roads, walkways and building entrances, and University officials will be closely monitoring campus conditions.

Procurement Services, Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling and Fisher Scientific are excited to begin a new Fisher Scientific Biologicals Cooler and Gel Pack Reuse Program. Fisher Scientific-branded white containers were added this week added to select recycling areas around campus.

During the 2018 Winter Holiday Energy Saving Initiative (Dec. 21 – Jan. 1), building temperature set points will be lowered in unoccupied buildings, which saves chilled water, steam, natural gas and electricity, thereby reducing utility costs.
