UNC responds to public comments received by Army Corps of Engineers

In the latest stage of the application process that addresses stream and wetland impacts at the Carolina North site, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill responded June 29, 2011, to citizen and state agency comments received about the application by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Carmichael Arena, ITS Manning, Kenan Residence Hall, and Kerr Hall, owned/managed by University of North Carolina have been selected to participate in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR National Building Competition: Battle of the Buildings to help improve the energy efficiency of commercial buildings and protect the environment.
