The timeline for the launch of the Wilson Library improvement project, scheduled to begin in August 2024, will now be extended.

Construction of the UNC School of Nursing’s new nursing education building will begin Monday, March 4 and is expected to be completed in spring 2026.

Work to upgrade gate equipment will close the west end of Paul Green Theatre Drive beginning Monday, Feb. 26.

The installation of a crane at the ITS Manning Parking Lot will require the periodic closure of Paul Hardin Drive and reduce Emergency Room Drive to one lane of traffic.

Manning Drive will close to through traffic between West Drive and New East Drive beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 through 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27.

A portion of William Blythe Drive will be reduced to one lane beginning Sunday, Oct. 1 to facilitate utility work at the Bell Hall project site.

The Old Well has new accessibility features for the start of the academic year. Renovations completed over the summer include the installation of a sloped pathway that connects the surrounding brick pavers with the upper platform of the Old Well.

A portion of the sidewalk along the north side of Manning Drive will be closed to pedestrians beginning Aug. 21 through Oct. 22.

Ridge Road will close to through traffic July 10-14 to allow for road and crosswalk repairs.
