Transportation and Parking hasidentified the need to modernize the Business School and the Dogwood Parking Deck elevators. The Business School Parking Deck provides spaces for staff, visitors, and parking for after-hour/weekend events. The Dogwood Parking Deck provides short-term parking for visitors and after-hours/event parking.

Designer Solicitations – Campus Master Plan Update
The project is an update to the 2018 campus master plan with a focus on Carolina North, a roughly 947 acre tract, the closest edge of which sits 1.7 miles north of the University's main campus. The planning team shall engage with a Steering Committee and a curated set of stakeholders to understand program drivers and develop and refine development scenarios to achieve strategic objectives over the short, medium and long term.

Designer Solicitations – Venable Hall Lower Level Upfit
This project will repurpose approximately 4,300 sf. of former library space on the ground floor into two new 30-40 student teaching classrooms and a shared common area. New classrooms will include a shared hood, sinks, and associated teaching lab fixtures. Preliminary planning has been completed and UNC seeks qualifications for bid package completion.

Designer Solicitations – Neurosciences Research Building – First Floor Upgrades (CIP-25110)
The former cagewash area on the first floor of Neurosciences Research Building is not currently utilized following construction activities from a prior capital project to renovate the second floor for a new cagewash area. Both DCM and SOM would like to renovate this first-floor area of approximately 1,500 sf, to create additional vivarium lab animal research spaces.
