Plastic Bags and Film

Students and staff may take plastic bags and plastic film to the recycling bin located in the Graham Student Union to the right of Alpine Bagel. Plastic must be clean, dry and stretchy to be recycled. Most grocery stores also accept plastic bags for recycling at the front of select stores. Do not put plastic bags into the blue recycling bins, carts or dumpsters.

Faculty and staff may drop off plastic film at the OWRR warehouse located in the General Storeroom at 111 Airport Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27599. There is a collection bin located at the far back of Mr.O’s for convenient drop-off.
