Temporary carts are used for office clean outs and large volumes of recyclable paper, booklets, hard cover books, magazines and other acceptable forms of paper products. All paper placed in temporary carts must be free of paper clips, binder clips, plastic binders and rubber bands.

Temporary carts can be requested from the Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling (OWRR) for a two-to-three week period. Due to our limited quantity of carts, please submit a cart request when you are ready to start cleaning out your office.

To request a temporary cart, please submit a work order. Keep in mind that temporary carts should not be kept inside locked rooms or offices that inhibit OWRR’s ability to pick up and service these containers.

Your cart will automatically be scheduled for pick up by OWRR after two-to-three weeks. You will receive an email prior to your scheduled pickup date, notifying you when your cart request is about to expire.
