The Old Well will be closed beginning Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 28 to facilitate the installation of granite pavers on the upper platform. The paver installation will complete the renovations that began last summer to make the Old Well more accessible.
The paver installation will require the removal of the fountain. Repairs to the fountain plumbing will also be made at this time, and the fountain will be functional again once this project is completed.
Fencing will be installed around the Old Well starting on June 17. The adjacent sidewalk along the north side of East Cameron Avenue will remain open and accessible, but pedestrians should remain alert to construction activity in this area and use designated pedestrian routes.
