UNC Hospitals Surgical Tower

The project encompasses 393,902 sf of total program, new building and existing parking deck including a new 146,206 sq ft addition across Kenan Drive to the north of the existing McColl Building). Site improvements along Blythe Drive will establish the addition as a new entry, an exterior walkway along the addition’s west façade connects to the new pedestrian bridge, and a series of cascading landscaped terraces and accessible decks connect the site from north to south.

Carrington Hall Renewal

The new 110,000-square-foot building will replace the original west wing of Carrington Hall, constructed in 1969, with a state-of-the art facility that will enable the school to increase class sizes, expand simulation and clinical learning spaces, and provide the latest technologies to better prepare students for their nursing careers. The project will include the demolition of the west wing of Carrington Hall.

Bingham Hall Renovation

Abatement and complete replacement of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. Roof and window replacement. Masonry repairs. New architectural finishes. Repositioning for programmatic upgrades.
