Following a competitive national search, Wendy Halsey has been selected as Carolina’s next associate vice chancellor for Facilities Services, starting Feb. 5, 2024.

The University will implement a Winter Holiday Energy Saving Initiative Dec. 22 through Jan. 1 to reduce energy consumption in unoccupied buildings.

Manning Drive will close to through traffic between West Drive and New East Drive beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 through 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27.

A project to upgrade gate equipment and visitor access systems will impact parking deck access routes.

The award recognizes a staff member who has demonstrated a strong commitment to social justice, especially with regard to the treatment of fellow workers.
