A crane will be installed on the service drive that runs between the UNC Hospitals chiller plants and central generator starting Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3. While the crane is in place, the service drive and adjacent sidewalks will be closed to through traffic and pedestrians from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The Public Safety Parking Lot will remain open throughout this project, and S1 permit holders should access the lot from Paul Hardin Drive. Pedestrians should remain alert to construction activity in this area and follow designated pedestrian routes.
