The third phase of the Porthole Alley construction project will begin Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, and is scheduled to be completed Oct. 16, 2017. Porthole Alley (Old Fraternity Row) and the Utility P parking lot will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicular traffic during this time.
N2 permit parking will be available in the Porthole Lot behind the Ackland Art Museum and can be accessed from the S. Columbia Street entrance. Overflow parking for N2 permit holders is available in the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center Lot (N2 Zone), in the Nash Lot (N7 Zone) and in the Venable Lot (N11 Zone).
Pedestrians should remain alert to traffic and sidewalk changes and follow signage designating pedestrian detours.
